Regional Director of Operations

About the Role

Claiborne Senior Living is looking for an accomplished and results-oriented Regional Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of senior living communities located in the Mid-South and Eastern U.S. This key leadership position is accountable for driving operational success, financial health, compliance adherence, and boosting occupancy across multiple sites.

Regional travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide operations across assigned communities.
• Coach and support Executive Directors and their teams.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory standards.
• Manage financial outcomes through effective labor and expense control and revenue optimization.
• Perform regular financial statement reviews and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Collaborate with marketing and Community Relations to drive occupancy growth.
• Address resident satisfaction issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure standards for safety, presentation, and operations are met.
• Participate in budgeting and annual goal setting.
• Work with HR and Business Office to address employment and staff performance issues.
• Support pre-opening efforts for new communities including staffing and operational preparation.

Requirements

• Established track record leading multiple senior or assisted living communities.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Strong financial expertise including managing labor and controllable costs.
• Proven success in improving occupancy rates and operational efficiency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of senior living regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
