  • Prepare messaging and campaign content for internal communications, including thought leadership pieces.
  • Contribute to crisis communications and rapid-response planning so messaging stays consistent in sensitive situations.

What you'll do

  • Plan and deliver the regional communications approach for S&P Global Energy in EMEA, ensuring alignment with divisional and corporate priorities.
  • Work with senior leaders and experts to develop clear stories around key initiatives, innovations, and strategic themes.
  • Write and circulate external materials such as press releases, statements, media advisories, pitch notes, and bylined articles.
  • Draft internal communications, including executive updates for senior stakeholders, and help organize internal events when needed.
  • Make sure all communications reflect S&P Global’s values, vision, and strategic direction.
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal partners, external stakeholders, top-tier global media, analysts, and journalists across EMEA.
  • Arrange media interviews, press briefings, and events that support division-level and corporate priorities.
  • Track and report communications outcomes against divisional and enterprise goals.
  • Handle media relations during crises and help reduce reputational risk through timely responses.

What we are looking for

  • A seasoned communications professional with strong credibility in the market and the ability to turn complex topics into clear public messages.
  • At least 8 years of experience in public relations, external communications, or media relations.
  • Experience in financial services, energy, data analytics, or technology is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic are required.
  • Proven experience developing and rolling out PR strategies across EMEA markets.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages for varied audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues, stakeholders, media outlets, and industry influencers.
  • A collaborative working style and the ability to partner with senior leaders on communication initiatives.
  • Strong project management ability and comfort managing several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience supporting internal communications and media relations work that increases visibility.
  • Ability to create and manage communication materials for both internal and external audiences.
