The role of Regional Collections Manager - Recovery based in Kolkata involves managing and overseeing the collections process to ensure recovery goals are met while minimizing credit losses. The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to monitor delinquent portfolios and design effective recovery strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet collections targets by developing and implementing recovery plans.
• Reduce credit losses by proactively managing risk in the portfolio.
• Enhance resolution rates through consistent follow-up and recovery actions.
• Conduct daily monitoring and review of overdue and delinquent accounts.
• Collaborate with non-performing borrowers to establish feasible recovery solutions.
• Monitor customer accounts to identify potential defaults or late payments early.
• Provide comprehensive reports and insights to management and related teams including Sales, Risk, and Policy on collection status, delinquency trends, and exception cases such as fraud and non-starters.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate documentation of the collections process.
• Address customer complaints regarding collections activities, aiming for outcomes beneficial to both the company and customers.
• Participate in regular audits of collections practices and procedures.
• Work with legal and senior management teams to manage escalated cases ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines.
