Role overview

This opportunity is for a senior regional sales leader who will help drive commercialization in a key geography. The position focuses on field execution, commercial performance, and building a strong regional team as the business moves through launch preparation and rollout.

You will collaborate with multiple internal partners to support customer engagement, execute launch plans, and strengthen the organization’s presence in the field. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to guide a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct, mentor, and develop a team of field sales professionals so they meet and surpass commercial goals.
  • Implement a consistent regional commercial plan that supports broader enterprise priorities.
  • Work alongside Commercial, Medical Affairs, Patient Services, and Market Access teams to create coordinated customer outreach.
  • Help prepare the field organization for readiness and execution before launch, during launch, and after launch.
  • Make sure the team has the tools, skills, and behaviors needed for a successful product introduction.
  • Improve results through target setting, KPI monitoring, and regular coaching.
  • Bring field-level insights back to the business to shape strategy and strengthen execution.
  • Develop an accountable team environment with a strong performance culture.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Candidate profile

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in sales and/or strategic account management within rare disease, CNS, or specialty pharmaceutical settings.
  • Proven experience managing people directly.
  • Recognition through recent national or regional awards for high performance.
  • Track record of consistently exceeding commercial targets.
  • Hands-on experience with CNS or specialty product launches, including the full cycle from pre-launch through post-launch.
  • Background in agile, fast-paced organizations; experience in biotech or emerging pharma is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in scaling environments with high expectations.
