About the Role
LinkedIn stands as the largest professional network worldwide, committed to generating economic opportunities for everyone in the global workforce. Our platforms empower individuals to connect meaningfully, explore promising career avenues, develop vital skills, and access insightful resources daily. We also deeply invest in the professional development of our employees while cultivating a culture grounded in trust, care, inclusivity, and enjoyment to foster success for all.
This position embraces a hybrid work model, combining remote work from home with on-site presence at a LinkedIn office as determined by team requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional and strategic account plans alongside your Global Client Director to drive revenue growth.
- Utilize comprehensive expertise in LinkedIn’s Talent, Learning, and Glint product suites to offer tailored solutions.
- Organize and prioritize your client portfolio, activities, and appointments weekly to target key growth prospects effectively.
- Conduct thorough discovery to grasp customers' businesses and objectives deeply.
- Secure customer commitment by proactively encouraging upsells, add-ons, and renewals outside of regular cycles.
- Maintain strong relationships with economic buyers and decision advisors through high-value engagements like training sessions and quarterly business reviews on invested solutions.
- Create and deliver customized presentations and demos that align with customer goals and objectives rather than mere product features.
- Maintain openness, collaboration, and client focus in communications with global account teams and customers.
- Complete order closures with consideration of broader LinkedIn investment opportunities and provide post-sale support to ensure product satisfaction and delivery.
- Demonstrate sales excellence by efficiently managing CRM systems for activity tracking and accurate sales forecasting.
First Year Objectives
- Exceed personal sales targets and contribute meaningfully to the overall success of the account team.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of LinkedIn's most complex global accounts, enhancing business acumen and prioritization skills.
- Master the management and delivery of long-term partnership value, including engagement with smaller accounts to support wider objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years in roles involving customer interaction with sales quotas, account management, or relationship management responsibilities.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Skilled in comprehending complex client needs and devising customized solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience engaging multiple stakeholders including EVPs, CXOs, and end-users during the sales cycle in individual and team settings.
- Expertise in solution sales to multinational customers with complex organizational structures.
- Proven track record in acquiring new business and managing existing accounts effectively.
- Ability to translate data and insights into compelling, relevant narratives for customers.
- Proactive in creating and executing sales plans with a problem-solving approach focusing on solutions instead of products.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges between $177,000 and $270,000, varying with factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and work location cost of living. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, equity, benefits, and other incentives.
