Job description

About the role

This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract on LinkedIn’s payroll. The role follows a hybrid working model, so you will split your time between home and a LinkedIn office on days determined by business requirements.

LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network, focused on creating economic opportunity for the global workforce. Its products are designed to help people build connections, explore opportunities, develop skills, and gain useful insights. The company also emphasizes employee growth and aims to foster a workplace built on trust, care, inclusion, and enjoyment.

As a Regional Account Manager within the Global Clients Program, you will support the development and retention of relationships with LinkedIn’s most strategic global customers. The position calls for strong ownership of a current customer portfolio, engagement with major centralized global contracts, and outbound activity across the wider long-tail of accounts. You will work with selected global clients to identify solutions that support their business and talent goals. While you will be accountable for meeting and exceeding quota, you are expected to always act in the customer’s best interest.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the Global Client Director to build territory and strategic account plans that drive growth.
  • Use deep product knowledge across LinkedIn’s Talent and Learning solutions to recommend the right offerings.
  • Prioritize your accounts, activities, and meetings each week so attention goes to the most valuable opportunities.
  • Learn each customer’s business, objectives, and needs through structured discovery.
  • Secure customer and prospect commitment to expand accounts through new solutions, add-ons, and renewals.
  • Strengthen relationships with economic buyers and advisors through valuable engagement such as training sessions and quarterly business reviews.
  • Create tailored presentations and demos based on customer goals rather than generic feature needs.
  • Maintain clear, collaborative, and customer-first communication with clients and the wider global account team.
  • Finalize orders with the broader LinkedIn investment strategy in mind and provide post-contract support to help ensure delivery and satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong sales operations discipline by accurately tracking activity and forecasting in CRM systems.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to research accounts, identify stakeholder insights, and personalize outreach and presentations at scale.
  • Apply data and AI-driven insights to improve pipeline focus, forecast accuracy, and strategies for renewals and expansion.

First 12-month outcomes

  • Deliver results above individual quota while understanding how your contribution supports broader account-team success.
  • Build a strong understanding of some of LinkedIn’s most complex global accounts and improve your ability to plan and prioritize within that environment.
  • Develop stronger business acumen and learn how to manage long-term partnerships and long-tail opportunities in support of wider account objectives.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring significant client-facing sales or account management experience, along with the ability to work across complex global customer environments. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and solution-oriented selling are important for success in this role.

Basic requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in customer-facing roles, including quota-carrying sales or account/relationship management.

Preferred experience

  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Experience selling into large enterprises and conglomerates.
  • Exposure to selling to senior executives such as EVPs and CXOs, as well as end-users, within both individual and team sales settings.
  • Background in solution selling to global or multinational customers with complex organizational structures.
  • Proven ability to close new business while also managing existing accounts.
  • Experience handling complex requirements and shaping custom solutions.
  • Ability to turn data and insights into clear, compelling customer stories.
  • Track record of building and executing plans with a solutions-led, rather than product-led, approach.
  • Comfort using AI-based productivity and analytics tools, with sound judgment and awareness of data privacy.
