Job description
Overview
The Region HR Specialist will support HR operations within the regional headquarters, collaborating closely with regional and country HR teams to implement efficient HR processes. This position reports to the Head of HR Region and requires strong ownership and communication abilities to manage cross-country stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Regional HR Head in implementing regional HR functions such as performance management, expatriate administration, talent management, and master data maintenance.
- Work in partnership with HR staff at HQ and country levels to ensure HR initiatives align with overall organizational goals.
- Serve as the HR Business Partner for the regional HQ, handling recruitment efforts, performance appraisal coordination, payroll support, HR expense monitoring, and daily HR tasks.
- Keep abreast of HR trends and best practices to help attract and retain high-quality talent in the region.
- Ensure adherence to local employment legislation and company policies within the region.
- Offer guidance and share updated HR knowledge and processes with country HR teams as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years' experience in an HR Specialist or comparable position.
- Comprehensive HR generalist background with in-depth understanding of policies, procedures, and best practices, ideally with multi-country or regional exposure.
- Professional maturity, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills for interaction with diverse HR teams.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and coordinate among various stakeholders efficiently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Chinese is advantageous.

This role is based at the regional headquarters located in Dubai, UAE, and requires full-time onsite presence.
