Role overview

This is a remote-first leadership role based in Germany, offered through a partner organization that will handle applications and the remaining hiring steps. The position is suited to an experienced technical recruiter who can combine hands-on hiring with team leadership in an international, fast-moving environment.

You will be responsible for keeping the talent acquisition function operating at a high standard, helping the business meet urgent hiring needs with speed, consistency, and quality. A strong focus will be placed on improving recruitment operations, guiding recruiters, and partnering with hiring managers to deliver an excellent candidate journey.

What you'll do

  • Run the full recruitment process for active hiring needs and ensure timely, high-quality hires across several technical roles.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters by setting clear goals, upholding recruitment standards, and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Own the intake discussion with hiring managers so that role expectations are clear, priorities are aligned, and hiring advice is practical and constructive.
  • Review recruitment funnels, study conversion data, spot blockers, and refine approaches to improve hiring results.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers through regular updates, proactive communication, and effective expectation management.
  • Work with sourcing teams to distribute effort efficiently and keep candidate pipelines healthy across open positions.
  • Measure and share key hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance, funnel conversion, and overall recruitment performance.
  • Support talent pipeline efforts by keeping suitable candidates engaged for future opportunities when relevant.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years in technical recruitment, with no less than 2 years in a senior recruiter or leadership role.
  • Proven success hiring senior software engineers or other niche technical talent, preferably in consulting, professional services, or high-growth tech environments.
  • Experience managing several recruitment projects and stakeholder relationships at the same time.
  • Strong capability in structured intake meetings and in partnering effectively with hiring managers throughout the hiring cycle.
  • Background in coaching, mentoring, or leading recruiters while driving high performance and ongoing improvement.
  • Well-developed organization, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to handle competing demands.
  • Good knowledge of recruitment analytics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-fill, and hiring performance measures.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, plus a strong focus on candidate experience.
  • Experience working with sourcing teams and shared recruitment resources is an added advantage.
