About the role
Bureau Veritas Qatar is hiring an experienced Recruitment Specialist to strengthen its HR team in Doha. In this position, you will oversee hiring from start to finish across several business units, working closely with hiring managers to bring in strong talent quickly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Run end-to-end hiring activities for multiple open roles at the same time, covering everything from vacancy posting to offer management and onboarding.
- Work with hiring managers to understand role needs and design effective sourcing plans.
- Review applications, create shortlists, and conduct interviews while maintaining a healthy and diverse candidate pool.
- Keep candidate and vacancy records accurate and current.
- Make sure recruitment processes follow Qatar labour law and internal Bureau Veritas policies.
- Develop and sustain a strong talent pipeline, especially for oil and gas positions.
- Share regular updates and recruitment reports with HR and business teams.
- Contribute to employer branding efforts and initiatives that improve the candidate experience.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably gained in either an in-house or agency setting.
- Demonstrated success in hiring for the oil and gas sector.
- Previous recruitment experience in the Qatar market is required.
- Ability to handle multiple vacancies simultaneously with strong organization and multitasking skills.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with careful attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Good understanding of Qatar labour law and local hiring practices.
- A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.
