Job Purpose
The Recruitment Specialist plays a key role in managing the entire recruitment lifecycle to attract, evaluate, and onboard exceptional talent aligned with the company's goals. This position emphasizes workforce planning, strategic sourcing, candidate engagement, and collaboration with hiring managers to ensure a streamlined and effective hiring process. Additionally, the role supports employer branding efforts and continually seeks improvements in the recruitment function.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership and departmental managers to comprehend workforce requirements and craft recruitment strategies that support business objectives.
- Support workforce planning by forecasting hiring needs and identifying talent pipeline necessities.
- Employ diverse sourcing methods such as job portals, professional networks, referrals, and recruitment agencies to discover suitable candidates.
- Lead direct sourcing activities including headhunting and talent mapping to establish robust candidate pools, especially for critical and specialized roles.
- Engage professionally with candidates to maintain a positive recruitment experience throughout all stages.
- Drive the full recruitment process from job advertisements through onboarding procedures.
- Organize interviews, evaluations, and feedback sessions with hiring managers efficiently.
- Ensure job descriptions are detailed, precise, and consistent with organizational needs.
- Assist in negotiating offers and finalizing employment agreements.
- Maintain precise records of recruitment efforts, candidate information, and hiring metrics within the applicant tracking system.
- Compile recruitment reports and dashboards tracking key performance indicators such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
- Uphold compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies related to recruitment activities.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives by highlighting company culture and values in recruitment drives.
- Identify and implement process improvements leveraging technology, automation, and recruitment best practices.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives within the hiring process.
Qualifications & Skills
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Bring 3 to 5 years of professional experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- Have solid expertise in sourcing strategies, diverse recruitment channels, and applicant tracking system utilization.
- Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in HRIS platforms and recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Loxo, Greenhouse, or Workday.
