Job description

Position summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Recruitment Specialist & HR Support professional to join the team in Brecksville, OH. This opportunity is well-suited to someone with 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR who enjoys bringing people and opportunities together while helping organizations strengthen their teams.

In this role, you will work with clients to draft job descriptions, publish and manage open roles, identify candidates, and assist with a variety of recruiting and human resources tasks. It is a strong chance to deepen your recruiting knowledge while also being exposed to wider HR responsibilities.

Recruiting and talent acquisition

  • Write and publish job advertisements across job boards, social platforms, and other sourcing channels.
  • Work with clients to shape and improve job descriptions so they match the role requirements and business goals.
  • Find suitable candidates through online tools, databases, referrals, and networking.
  • Review resumes and complete initial candidate interviews.
  • Manage candidate communication and organize interview schedules.
  • Keep applicant tracking records current and accurate.
  • Support clients from the opening of a role through to offer acceptance.
  • Track recruiting progress and share regular hiring status updates with clients.

HR support

  • Help clients with onboarding and new-hire paperwork.
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining HR forms, policies, and employment documents.
  • Answer client queries related to HR procedures and best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to help ensure a strong client experience.
  • Look for ways to improve recruiting and onboarding workflows.
  • Contribute to special HR projects and client-specific initiatives when needed.

Client service

  • Develop strong working relationships with both clients and candidates.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally throughout the hiring process.
  • Act as a dependable resource for recruiting questions and staffing needs.
  • Deliver responsive support while balancing multiple clients and priorities.

Qualifications and success measures

  • 0–3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, or a related area, or a recent graduate with relevant internship exposure.
  • Strong writing ability, including the skill to prepare polished job descriptions and advertisements.
  • Good organization and a strong eye for detail.
  • Ability to handle several open positions and shifting priorities at once.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Prior use of Microsoft Office and recruiting tools such as online job platforms or applicant tracking systems is an advantage.
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
