Job description
Role overview
The Recruitment Officer partners with the Senior Recruitment Specialist to plan and execute hiring initiatives that support the organization’s workforce needs.
Key responsibilities
- Design and carry out recruitment and selection approaches that help the business bring in strong-fit talent aligned with its goals.
- Assist the Senior Recruitment Specialist and Head of HR in preparing the annual workforce staffing plan.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to build detailed sourcing plans based on approved organizational vacancies, including sourcing channels, selection standards, interview guidance, and related details.
- Manage the complete hiring cycle, starting from CV review through to successful candidate onboarding.
- Draft employment offers, agreements, employment contracts, and other hiring-related paperwork.
- Work with recruitment agencies when needed, making sure they understand the role requirements, scope of work, and agreed delivery schedule.
- Keep candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders informed with timely updates on recruitment progress.
- Compile and present recruitment activity reports to management when requested.
- Support the creation and revision of employee job descriptions.
- Maintain candidate databases carefully and ensure they are kept current and accurate.
- Coordinate with the Senior Recruitment Specialist on any recruitment issues or related concerns.
- Stay informed about key labor law requirements and changes in employment legislation.
- Support the HR team with employee relations matters and other HR activities as required.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant recruitment or HR role.
- Working knowledge of Qatari labor law is preferred.
- Hands-on experience using a LinkedIn Recruiter license.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and ERP tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and DAX.
- Ability to source candidates through both active and passive search methods.
- Knowledge of CBI interviewing techniques.
