Job description
Job Overview
The role involves leading recruitment activities directly supporting manufacturing site operations, including production, engineering, maintenance, quality, environment health and safety (EHS), and technical support positions. The individual will collaborate closely with plant leadership and operational teams to ensure timely and high-quality hiring that facilitates plant growth, ramp-up phases, and ongoing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the complete recruitment lifecycle for on-site roles spanning engineering, production, maintenance, HSE, and other technical functions.
- Manage job advertisements, candidate tracking, interview organization, job offers, and new hire onboarding processes.
- Proactively source candidates through employment platforms, referrals, recruitment agencies, and direct outreach efforts.
- Evaluate applicants focusing on technical skills, relevant site experience, and safety consciousness.
- Collaborate with plant managers, production supervisors, and engineering teams to clarify recruitment requirements and timelines.
- Assist hiring managers in refining role descriptions, interview protocols, and evaluation criteria.
- Coordinate interviews, site assessments, and visits effectively among site teams and HR partners.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and track data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure all recruitment actions align with company policies, approval workflows, and site-specific guidelines.
Qualifications and Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on recruitment experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, capable of preparing polished presentations suitable for management review.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp new market knowledge and conduct comprehensive, quality-focused interviews.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to engage effectively across various organizational levels.
- Well-developed organizational and project management capabilities, adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Willingness for occasional business travel to Hong Kong as required.
- Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered for the position of Senior Recruitment Officer or Assistant Manager in Recruitment.
