Recruitment Consultant - White Collar Construction

About the Role

We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant specializing in permanent white-collar roles within the construction sector, based in Southampton. This contract position offers the chance to join a reputable recruitment agency with over 50 years of industry experience and a broad presence across the UK. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of our Construction Professionals division by engaging with leading construction companies and managing all aspects of recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with prominent construction firms in the southern region.
• Identify, interview, and place high-quality candidates in permanent white-collar positions including Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Design Managers.
• Handle the entire recruitment process from business development through to final placement.
• Work towards established targets and benefit from significant earning opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in recruitment, ideally within construction or a related area.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with strong ability to build professional relationships.
• Proactive, resilient, and motivated by targets.
• Understanding of the construction industry beneficial but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
