Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is with a specialist recruitment business that partners with well-known consumer and retail brands such as Deliveroo, Pepsi, and The Body Shop. The company focuses on digital and ecommerce hiring for some of the UK’s fastest-growing organisations. The role is based in Lancaster and follows a hybrid working pattern: three days in the office and two days working from home.
Open roles
Recruitment Consultant positions are available at multiple levels, including Trainee, Senior Consultant, and Team Leader.
What you will do
You will win new business by making cold calls to clients, then build and maintain those relationships through a mix of virtual and face-to-face meetings. You will use advanced search techniques across several platforms to identify suitable candidates, assess them through strong questioning, and place them with the right clients by understanding the needs of both sides. The role also involves negotiation, persuasion, and influencing outcomes, along with writing compelling sales copy and using basic content marketing methods.
Who they are looking for
People with a background in recruitment or sales are preferred, but applicants without direct experience may also be considered if they show strong motivation and a genuine desire to build a career in recruitment. Full training is provided by a highly regarded industry trainer.
Package and benefits
The reward package includes uncapped commission with no threshold, annual increases in holiday entitlement, a paid birthday off, 50% support toward gym membership, monthly team meals, Michelin-star restaurant experiences for meeting targets, and a half-day off on the last Friday of every month, which can add up to six extra days each year. Additional perks include paid leave for the Summer Party in the Lake District and the Christmas Party in London, breakfast and barista coffee at work, a dog-friendly office, free parking, and opportunities to earn international trips through the High Achievers Club.
