Buena, supported by GV, is working to make every step around real estate as simple and clear as buying an ETF. That includes searching for, purchasing, and financing an apartment. To do this, the company acquires property management firms across Germany and transforms them into technology-driven businesses. Over the past three years, Buena has grown from a HQ team of fewer than 25 full-time employees into the third-largest property manager in Germany.
About the role
Buena is looking for a Recruiter (m/w/d) to help strengthen its edge in mergers and acquisitions. As the company takes over property management businesses across Germany, it is critical to quickly replace the existing management with tech-oriented leaders. Your mission is to identify, support, and win over the future managing directors.
This role offers full ownership from day one. As the second member of the headhunting team, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of more than 500 employees and leaders right away, ensuring the right executive is ready as soon as a deal closes. You will work directly with the leadership team and the M&A teams at Buena’s Berlin headquarters, making recruiting a core part of the overall strategy.
Responsibilities
- Spend around 80% of your time on direct outreach and sourcing managing directors through LinkedIn, Xing, Stepstone, and cold calling.
- Design, improve, and own the full end-to-end recruiting process, including the CRM setup, with a focus on efficiency.
- Connect the M&A pipeline with the talent pipeline so leadership can be appointed immediately after an acquisition closes.
- Systematically map the German market and build strategic talent pools for future acquisition targets.
Ideal profile
- You bring 1–3 years of proven success in executive search, headhunting, tech recruiting, or general recruiting, and you have successfully closed senior-level roles.
- You are resilient in direct outreach, communicate with confidence, and are strongly driven by results.
- You speak German at native level.
- You work in a highly structured, analytical, and data-driven way.
- You use modern sourcing tools, CRM systems, and AI-based applications to improve your day-to-day performance.
- You are willing to work on-site at the Berlin HQ in Prenzlauer Berg.
