Overview
Motion Recruitment is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter based in Waipahu, HI (Oahu) to join on a contract basis initially for 3 or more months, with potential extensions. The role is essential as the primary contact point for both internal and external candidates and involves collaboration with Hiring Managers and HR to establish effective recruitment strategies that align with business needs. Compensation is set at $32 per hour on a W2 basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle to fulfill the company's staffing requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers to comprehend hiring needs and implement recruitment plans that ensure successful candidate selection.
- Apply innovative and strategic approaches to attract and secure top talent.
- Conduct complete retail recruitment processes including sourcing, job postings, and screening potential candidates.
- Analyze recruiting metrics to evaluate and enhance recruitment processes continuously.
- Assist with workforce planning and recruitment forecasting.
- Offer guidance to hiring personnel on interviewing techniques and candidate assessment.
- Maintain a strong customer service focus while managing recruitment for high-volume frontline, supervision, and corporate positions, along with talent pipeline development.
- Potentially contribute to early talent acquisition and campus recruitment initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with over one year of pertinent experience, or a High School diploma with a minimum of five years in the field.
- Proven experience managing high-volume, full-cycle recruitment particularly for frontline roles.
- Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), with familiarity in ISISM being advantageous.
- Sound understanding of staffing and recruitment programs.
- Exceptional communication and written skills.
- Strong technical proficiency including expertise in applicant tracking technologies, Microsoft Office, and social networking methods for talent attraction and operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related area.
- Professional HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM.
- Experience within fast-paced, expanding multi-unit organizations.
- Background in corporate recruitment settings.
- Familiarity with temporary staffing agencies, candidate testing/assessment, and vendor management.
