What You Will Do

• Reach out proactively to attract candidates for software engineering and other technical positions at different experience levels.
• Work with hiring managers to prepare clear, accurate job descriptions and define the hiring criteria.
• Coordinate with hiring managers, People team members, and executives during the offer stage, including salary bands, incentives, start dates, and related terms.
• Conduct phone screenings, interview candidates, and arrange the various steps in the recruitment process.
• Use recruiting data such as time-to-fill and candidate evaluation results to review and improve hiring processes.
• Build a recruiting playbook that strengthens and scales talent acquisition practices.

Candidate Profile

• You should bring at least 5 years of professional experience in recruitment.
• You need strong knowledge of the main local hiring channels in Kigali for finding talent.
• You must be able to use English fluently as a day-to-day working language for recruitment communication.
• You should have established relationships and a strong understanding of talent sources at universities in Kigali.
• You need to be familiar with Rwanda’s labor laws and the applicable employment regulations.

Working Arrangements

This is an on-site role based in Kigali City, Rwanda. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with availability required for urgent matters such as incident troubleshooting and system upgrades.
