Recruiter - Automobile Industry

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Recruiter experienced within the automobile or dealership sector to oversee comprehensive recruitment processes. This role involves full responsibility for fulfilling vacancies across Sales, Service, Workshop, Customer Care, Insurance, Finance, and other dealership-related departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete recruitment lifecycle for automotive positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Source candidates using diverse channels such as job portals, social media, references, and networking platforms.
• Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, salary expectations, and role fit.
• Arrange interviews with department heads and hiring managers; maintain consistent candidate follow-up until joining.
• Develop and update a candidate database for recurring recruitment needs.
• Facilitate documentation and onboarding procedures for new hires.
• Monitor progress in recruitment cycles, including vacancies, interviews, selections, and joining data, and prepare reports for HR management.
• Promote and manage employee referral programs and other recruitment campaigns.
• Ensure all candidates experience a professional and respectful recruitment process.
• Participate in field visits to support hiring activities.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; qualifications in HR or Management are preferred.
• Between three to five years of recruitment experience, ideally within automobile or dealership industries.
• Familiarity with manpower needs and profiles typical in automobile dealerships is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with recruitment platforms and tools including Naukri, Apna, and LinkedIn.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and candidate management abilities.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent hiring needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Preferred experience includes recruitment work within major automobile brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Toyota, Honda, Kia, Renault, Nissan, Volkswagen, MG, or similar.

Terms and Conditions

• Employment type is full-time with responsibilities split between office and field locations.
• Reporting directly to the HR Manager.
• Probation period is six months, extendable up to nine months based on performance.
