Recreation Supervisor - Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island

Position Overview

As a key member of the Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island team, you will manage everyday recreational activities such as overseeing pools, fitness centers, sports facilities, and programs for children. Your leadership will ensure exceptional guest experiences by coordinating engaging recreation events, promoting wellness, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of all recreational services including guest experience, food and beverage coordination, marketing, merchandising, reservations, budgeting, and reporting.
• Organize and promote a variety of recreation activities such as pool events, tennis tournaments, children’s programming, and special events designed to enhance guest engagement.
• Monitor guest service quality, anticipate issues, and implement improvements to elevate satisfaction levels.
• Lead, train, and develop the recreation team by conducting performance reviews, offering development opportunities, and recognizing team accomplishments to build motivation and performance.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in recreation management or related hospitality roles, ideally within hotel or resort environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong communication capabilities, with experience planning and executing recreational activities for varied guest demographics.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for guest service combined with a solid knowledge of wellness and leisure trends.
