Responsibilities

  • Conduct bank reconciliations by ensuring all bank accounts are fully reconciled, demonstrating understanding of transactional accounting, and verifying that all payments are recorded in the console portal.
  • Manage the accounts payable process, including comprehension of the related procedures and accounting entries, transactional accounting knowledge, and confirming payment postings in the console portal.
  • Assist with the monthly financial close of books for Cvent Inc., including preparing schedules and journal entries for pre-payments, accruals, fixed asset depreciation, and deferred income.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts on the balance sheet.
  • Provide support during annual financial audits.
  • Perform detailed financial and accounting analyses as required.

Requirements

  • Strong background in accounting with 3 to 4 years of experience in transactional accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
  • Knowledge of US-GAAP is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication abilities, keen attention to detail, and strong coordination skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt flexibly to changing priorities.

Eligibility

The position is open to candidates who have completed any undergraduate degree.
