Record Daily Household Activities for AI Training

Overview

This is a project-based opportunity on an AI training platform rather than a traditional employment role. There are no fixed working hours and no obligation beyond the time you choose to contribute. The idea is simple: record activities, submit them, and receive payment.

About the Role

You will create first-person videos of ordinary household tasks by mounting your smartphone on your head so the camera captures your viewpoint. The recordings will be used to help train AI systems and robots to better understand how people handle objects and complete real-world activities.

Examples of the kinds of tasks you may record include washing dishes, vacuuming, walking the dog, folding laundry, and similar everyday chores.

Responsibilities

• Film common household activities from a first-person angle, such as cooking, cleaning, tidying, folding clothes, gardening, and walking the dog.
• Record footage at your own home, yard, garage, or other suitable workspace.
• Follow the brief recording instructions provided for each session.
• Submit the finished videos through the project application.

Requirements

• You should have access to a smartphone or another camera device that can record at 30 FPS or higher and at a resolution of at least 1080p.
• Suitable devices mentioned include iPhone 11 or later, Google Pixel 6 or newer, or Samsung Galaxy S21+ and above, with a wide-angle or 0.5x lens.
• The camera must be positioned at forehead or eye level to provide an egocentric view, with a downward angle that keeps the hands visible.
• All capture and upload work must be done using the designated D&A app.
• Videos need to be sharp, steady, well lit, at least 15 seconds long, and focused on natural, purposeful actions without long pauses or staged movements.

Compensation

This freelance project can pay up to the equivalent of $10 per hour depending on the project.
