Role Overview
Portico is seeking a confident and well-presented Receptionist / Office Administrator to act as the face of the front-of-house operation at a high-profile London location. In this role, you will take ownership of the overall welcome experience for the London office and serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees.
You will be expected to deliver consistently high service standards, show professionalism in every interaction, and help create a smooth and memorable arrival experience through efficient support, warm engagement, and a proactive approach. You will also work closely with other on-site service partners to maintain a coordinated, collaborative service model.
Key Duties
The position includes greeting visitors and VIP guests, handling meeting room coordination, managing incoming calls, supporting event logistics, assisting with client-facing engagement, delivering hospitality support, keeping the office environment orderly, and arranging hotel and travel bookings.
Working Pattern
This is a 40-hour per week role with shifts scheduled between 8:30 and 17:30, Monday to Friday.
Salary
The annual salary for this position is £31,000.
Candidate Profile
Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of exceptional service and show genuine motivation to deliver it every day. A sharp eye for detail and a willingness to go beyond expectations are also important. Experience in a corporate setting or a premium hotel environment, along with some administrative background, would be an advantage.
