Role Overview

Innovative Driven is hiring an onsite receptionist for a respected global law firm client in New York City. The position is the main front-desk contact for the New York office and requires delivering a polished, concierge-style experience to visitors, attorneys, and staff. The schedule runs from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and the compensation range is $60,000 to $65,000 per year.

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome guests, guide them to the right person or location, and escort them to offices or meeting rooms when needed.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from both internal and external contacts.
  • Issue and collect access key cards for visiting attorneys and staff.
  • Book conference rooms and office spaces through the firm’s workplace management system (EMS), including setup for catering, visitor registration, and technology.
  • Coordinate each day with the local operations team on room arrangements and visiting-office needs.
  • Work with the Hospitality Coordinator on catering-related support, including ordering food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Keep the reception area neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Support emergency procedures and respond appropriately in urgent situations.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as invoice handling and other general clerical work.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong service orientation with clear, professional communication skills in person, over the phone, and in writing.
  • Polished and respectful manner when dealing with clients, attorneys, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong planning, time management, and prioritization abilities with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working on several tasks at once in a busy environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Reliable attendance and consistent performance are essential.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous exposure to reservation or scheduling software is preferred.

Additional Information

This role is based onsite in the New York City Metropolitan Area and is intended for a full-time schedule. The job involves front desk operations for a legal environment and may include handling confidential, time-sensitive, and guest-facing responsibilities.
