Job description
About the role
Burnside Hospital is seeking approachable, well-organised, and service-oriented Receptionists to join its busy Administration team at the Toorak Gardens site. These are permanent part-time positions, offering up to 0.8 FTE, and the roster covers seven days each week, with most shifts scheduled in the afternoon, evening, and on weekends. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities to step into Team Leader shifts when needed.
In this front-line role, you will be the initial point of contact for patients, visitors, and clinicians. The position contributes directly to a smooth and professional hospital experience by handling admissions, discharge processes, enquiries, records, payment handling, and communication systems, while consistently protecting privacy, maintaining safety, and presenting a professional manner.
This opportunity will suit someone who works well in a busy setting, enjoys assisting others, and is committed to delivering a high standard of customer service.
