Job description
Overview
This opportunity is with a well-known technology multinational company, supported by Adecco. The role is for a Facilities Management Coordinator based in Singapore. Applicants who can begin immediately or on short notice are preferred.
What You Will Do
- Keep day-to-day workplace activities running smoothly so the office remains clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Arrange maintenance and repair work with external vendors and keep relevant stakeholders informed.
- Oversee mailroom processes, including receiving, sorting, delivering, and tracking employee parcels.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to the workplace.
- Help plan and suggest engagement initiatives that support a positive office culture.
- Offer on-site help to partners and customers, and work with Customer Support when issues need to be resolved.
- Track office consumables and inventory so supplies remain available and well maintained.
- Assist with space management tasks such as meeting room reservations and office relocations.
- Coordinate locker assignment, monitoring, and upkeep.
- Act as a link between employees and management on workplace-related matters.
- Provide periodic updates and reports covering workplace conditions and employee feedback.
What the Employer Is Looking For
- Prior experience in facilities management, office administration, or a similar area is generally expected.
- Background in customer service or employee engagement can be an advantage.
- Strong people skills and the ability to form good working relationships are important.
- Comfort using workplace communication tools such as Zoom, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Facility management or workplace safety certifications may strengthen an application.
- Experience from the airline sector is considered a plus.
