About the Role

Strivenz Solutions Private Limited is recruiting skilled labourers proficient in rebar (bar bending) and shuttering (formwork carpentry) for an active construction project located in Chennai. Candidates must possess practical experience and be prepared to integrate into a dynamic execution team immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, and secure reinforcement steel bars conforming to structural blueprints.
• Interpret and implement bar bending schedules (BBS) with precision.
• Assemble, fix, and dismantle shuttering or formwork for various structural elements such as columns, beams, slabs, and walls.
• Verify proper alignment, leveling, and support of formwork prior to concrete pouring.
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and engineers to achieve daily construction goals.
• Adhere strictly to site safety protocols and ensure continuous use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain tools and construction materials ensuring they remain in good working condition.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in rebar fixing or shuttering/carpentry within construction settings.
• Capability to understand basic structural or formwork drawings is advantageous though not compulsory.
• Good physical fitness to endure outdoor site working conditions.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and commitment to meet project timelines.
• Strong team orientation, discipline, and emphasis on safety compliance.
• Applicants should be local to Chennai or willing to relocate to the project site.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly remuneration ranging from INR 20,000 to INR 25,000, determined by skill and experience.
• Prompt monthly wage disbursal.
• Provident Fund (PF) benefits will be granted.
• Accommodation and meals will be supplied during the tenure.
