About the Role
Join a prominent global law firm as a Project Manager focused on Real Estate & Development (RE&D) Technology. This role involves overseeing technology components during office buildouts, relocations, and workplace modernization projects within the EMEA region. The position offers a contract of 6 months, potentially extending to 12 months, with a hybrid work model of 50% onsite in Berlin or Frankfurt and 50% remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technology workstreams for office construction, relocation, and refurbishment projects across EMEA.
- Implement workplace technologies such as audiovisual systems, network infrastructure, cabling, and server room setups.
- Synchronize technology deployment schedules with construction and design timelines to ensure offices are ready for operation.
- Collaborate closely with real estate, design, construction, and IT teams to guarantee smooth project execution.
- Oversee third-party suppliers delivering AV, cabling, and infrastructure services.
- Monitor project deadlines, budgets, risks, and dependencies across multiple ongoing projects.
- Ensure all technology implementations comply with global standards and operational requirements.
- Manage stakeholder communications, reporting, and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise end-to-end testing, commissioning, and readiness of technology installations in office spaces.
- Promote continuous improvement and standardization within workplace technology environments.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in managing technology or infrastructure projects within complex settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of workplace technologies including AV systems, networks, and office IT environments.
- Experience handling projects related to office buildouts, office moves, or modernization initiatives.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams encompassing IT, construction, and vendor stakeholders.
- Strong skills in project planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience working under structured Project Management Office frameworks and methodologies such as PMP or equivalent.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Capacity to manage several concurrent projects across multiple locations.
- Professional fluency in both English and German; German language skills are advantageous.
Additional Information
- Contract duration: 6 months with possibility of extension to 12 months
- Working week: full-time, 5 days a week
- Work location: Hybrid split between onsite (50%) in Berlin or Frankfurt and remote (50%)
