About the Role
This position is for a Teller Authoriser within the Retail Branch Banking setup at HDFC Bank in Jetpur. The role focuses on overseeing frontline branch activities, supporting customer service delivery, and ensuring smooth day-to-day branch functioning in coordination with branch leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep an eye on Personal Banker desks and the contract sales workforce, making sure their activities are properly supervised.
- Handle branch administration tasks and maintain orderly branch operations.
- Manage the lobby area so customer movement and service flow remain efficient.
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, reliable, and high-quality service at the branch.
- Address customer questions, complaints, and service issues with timely resolution.
- Support walk-in customers by resolving their branch-related concerns effectively.
- Track staff productivity and, together with the Branch Manager, provide guidance to improve performance.
- Monitor dummy accounts, suspense accounts, deferred accounts, and accounts payable/receivable activity.
- Support branch operations while maintaining audit and compliance standards.
