Overview
An established company in the specialized electronics manufacturing space is hiring a Quotes & Proposals Coordinator to strengthen its commercial and sales support function. This position is based on-site in St. Catharines, Ontario.
The opportunity offers a competitive salary in the range of $65,000 to $75,000+, depending on experience, along with bonus potential, benefits, and a collaborative team environment.
The person in this role will be responsible for handling customer quotations, evaluating RFQs and contract documents, coordinating proposal submissions, and making sure all technical and commercial obligations are addressed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess incoming RFQs, bid packages, and client documents to help develop quotations and proposal responses.
- Work closely with sales and technical stakeholders to collect pricing, product details, and supporting paperwork.
- Draft customer quotes, commercial submissions, and contract-related documents with strong accuracy.
- Examine lengthy contracts and technical specifications to flag needs, risks, and compliance items.
- Manage proposal schedules, submission checkpoints, and follow-up actions so deadlines are consistently met.
- Keep quote files, proposal records, contracts, and client communication logs well organized.
- Support ongoing customer communication about pricing, order information, and proposal status updates.
- Contribute to improvements in proposal tracking, contract administration, and reporting workflows.
- Review customer bid portals and coordinate submission requirements plus supporting documentation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant brings 3 to 5 years of experience in quotations, contract administration, proposal coordination, sales support, or a similar area. This role suits someone who is highly detail-focused, comfortable interpreting complex documents, and able to operate in a structured, deadline-heavy environment.
Success in this position also requires strong organization, solid project coordination ability, professional communication skills, and a customer-first approach. Experience with RFQ, RFP, or government/tender submissions is an advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and ERP or CRM platforms is expected, along with a dependable, accountable attitude and a willingness to build long-term with the team.
