Bin Abed Architectural and Engineering Consultancy is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to enhance our Engineering Consultancy Team based in Dubai, UAE. The role demands extensive expertise in quantity surveying within construction and consultancy projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or allied disciplines is essential.
• Possess between five to eight years of substantial UAE-based experience in quantity surveying roles.
• Solid background in managing construction or engineering consultancy assignments.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Expertise in performing quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and compiling Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Competence in evaluating contracts, handling variations, and processing payment applications including interim payment certificates.
• Understanding of tendering procedures, procurement strategies, cost control measures, and financial oversight of projects.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract standards and construction contract administration is advantageous.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite, Revit, AutoCAD, and specialized quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and comprehensive reporting abilities.
