Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team for a significant infrastructure project. The successful candidate will bring extensive UAE regional experience, specifically in roads and infrastructure, and will be responsible for routine quantity surveying and cost management activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quantity surveying and commercial processes throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist in budgeting, cost planning, and tracking of finances
• Prepare and assess contract variations, claims, and change orders
• Measure material quantities and review technical drawings and specifications
• Keep accurate records of project expenditures, payments, and progress status
• Support contract administration ensuring contractual compliance
• Collaborate closely with project teams to enforce cost control and provide reporting
• Generate regular cost reports and aid in financial forecasting
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all commercial information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of overall experience in quantity surveying
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience working in the UAE, ideally on infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated expertise with infrastructure and roads sector projects
• Strong skills in cost management, contract administration, and managing changes or claims
