Role Overview
This position focuses on supporting EMS quality, accreditation readiness, documentation standards, patient safety, and compliance across a large healthcare environment in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role works closely with EMS leadership and quality/risk stakeholders to strengthen processes, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
Quality and Accreditation
- Update, review, and harmonize EMS policies and procedures to stay aligned with international accreditation expectations such as JCIA, ACHS, and ABBA’s.
- Carry out gap assessments against accreditation requirements and translate findings into practical compliance action plans.
- Support survey preparedness by organizing documentation, preparing staff, and gathering supporting evidence.
- Stay current on accreditation frameworks and regulatory obligations relevant to EMS operations.
Policy and Procedure Development
- Work with EMS leadership to prepare, revise, and roll out policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure all documents follow a consistent standard, are properly formatted, version-controlled, and easy for staff to access.
- Deliver orientation and training to employees when policies are updated or newly introduced.
Monitoring, Audits, and Compliance
- Review documentation quality in the EMR and ensure records meet the clinical documentation policy across the Fakeeh Health Care facility.
- Conduct routine quality audits covering EMS operations, clinical documentation, and patient safety practices.
- Monitor quality and safety KPIs, identify deviations, and collaborate with relevant departments on corrective and preventive actions.
- Produce monthly audit summaries, interpret trends and inconsistencies, and address opportunities for improvement against internal standards and external requirements.
- Share audit and quality findings with Quality Risk Management, the Chief Medical Officer, and other leadership stakeholders, along with practical recommendations.
Committee and Data Responsibilities
- Participate actively in selected committees as required.
- Support the validation of new KPIs and help collect manually tracked KPI data from assigned users.
- Collect, organize, and analyze quality information for dashboards, leadership updates, and decision-making.
- Prepare and submit recurring quality and compliance reports to the Quality Manager and senior leaders.
- Assist with research and benchmarking efforts related to EMS quality improvement.
Privacy, Risk, and Patient Safety
- Monitor the privacy and confidentiality of patient records and information throughout the organization.
- Track incident reports, near misses, and adverse events, ensuring follow-up and timely reporting in the OVR system.
- Support root cause analysis and propose improvements that reduce the chance of repeat issues.
- Encourage a strong safety culture through education and engagement with EMS staff.
Training and Development
- Contribute to educational activities focused on audit methods, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct workshops on documentation accuracy, patient safety, and using patient feedback to improve services.
- Help maintain continuous staff development so the team stays updated on healthcare quality management and audit practices.

- Emergency Medical Services degree and CPHQ certification or higher are preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic.
