Job description
Position Overview
This role is a 6-month contractual opportunity based in Tuas, Singapore, within a multinational bio-pharmaceutical company. The Quality Operations Specialist is tasked with supporting site leadership to constantly oversee quality system execution in manufacturing and production zones, ensuring compliance and highest quality standards in released batches.
Key Duties
- Monitor and document quality deviations in product manufacturing processes.
- Ensure products comply with established company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee quality aspects in GMP manufacturing, including technical operations, engineering, quality control lab, and supply chain support.
- Evaluate inspection records, batch documentation, manufacturing logs, and quality administration activities like QA hold and tag out.
- Approve release of incoming materials, in-process, and finished product batches.
- Engage in investigations related to non-compliance in materials, testing, production, and warehousing.
- Contribute to change management processes ensuring compliance and accurate change plan execution.
- Conduct routine walkthroughs of manufacturing and supporting areas to maintain adherence to quality standards.
- Support new product introductions and operational excellence projects as delegated by management.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences (Biology, Chemistry), Pharmacy, or Engineering.
- Solid understanding of quality and compliance management systems with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for APIs and biologics.
- At least two years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical quality and/or compliance within a GxP framework.
- Proficiency using SAP and Trackwise systems.
Additional Information
The position offers remuneration up to SGD 5500 monthly, commensurate with experience. The role is based onsite in Tuas, west region of Singapore.
