Quality Manager - Automotive Tier 1 Manufacturing Company

Role Overview

The organization is looking for a Quality Manager to oversee quality management across an automotive Tier 1 manufacturing environment. The role centers on building, applying, and sustaining a strong Quality Management System so that products and processes consistently align with customer expectations, industry requirements, and internal quality goals. The position also includes leadership of quality assurance and quality control functions.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving quality performance and maintaining a robust QMS across the operation. This includes coordinating quality assurance and quality control activities, improving processes, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring the organization remains compliant with relevant standards and customer expectations.

Compliance and Standards

The role requires active adherence to applicable quality standards, including ISO 9001. The selected candidate should support audit readiness, documentation discipline, and ongoing compliance with quality systems and customer-specific requirements.

Experience Profile

A managerial background of 3 to 5 years in quality-related functions is required. Prior exposure to automotive manufacturing, customer quality handling, and structured improvement initiatives will be important for success in this role.

Education

The preferred qualification is B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
