Job description
Role overview
Corlann is recruiting a Quality Enhancement and Training Officer on a specific-purpose full-time contract to cover maternity leave in Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.
This position sits within the organisation’s quality and training function and focuses on strengthening quality systems, supporting staff development, and helping ensure services remain aligned with the relevant standards, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
Key duties
- Support the rollout and day-to-day use of quality frameworks, including Council on Quality and Leadership Basic Assurances and Personal Outcomes Measures, the National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities, the Health Act 2007, the 2013 regulations for designated centres, and the 2012 New Directions review of HSE day services.
- Coordinate basic assurances factor groups, carry out reviews, deliver training, and manage projects linked to quality enhancement.
- Take part in working groups connected to the Quality Enhancement and Training function and contribute to their work.
- Assist with the planning, delivery, and monitoring of the organisation’s training plan.
Candidate profile
The successful applicant is expected to hold a minimum QQI Level 8 qualification in Learning and Development, Psychology, Sociology, Community Development, Social Care, or another relevant area.
A minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience relevant to the role is required, along with a solid understanding of standards, legislation, and regulation.
The role also requires a full clean driving licence, access to a vehicle, and flexibility to work some evening hours when needed.
