Job description

About the role

We are looking for a driven QC & RA Officer to support the quality function within a busy manufacturing setup in Riyadh. The position is suited to a Chemistry graduate who can thrive in a fast-moving environment and handle both quality control testing and regulatory affairs work in line with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) requirements.

Regulatory affairs and compliance

In this role, you will help maintain the Regulatory Affairs system and support full compliance with SFDA rules. Your work will include managing SFDA-related activities such as MDMA, MDMC, MDWL, MDEL, and AR agreements, ensuring products are registered correctly for smooth import and commercial registration, and coordinating with Sales and Purchasing to secure the required export and import permits. You will also communicate directly with SFDA when needed.

Quality control and laboratory testing

You will be involved in laboratory operations covering receipt, sampling, and testing of raw materials, incoming chemicals, and packaging materials. The role also includes chemical analysis, reagent preparation, in-process checks during production, microbiological testing, bio-burden sampling, and assessment of sterile and non-sterile finished goods. You will also operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.

Qualifications and requirements

The preferred educational background is a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience are preferred, though recent graduates may also be considered based on potential. The role calls for solid knowledge of chemical testing, the ability to use laboratory instruments, strong communication skills for dealing with regulatory authorities, good organizational skills, computer proficiency, and fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic. Reliable attendance and strict adherence to working hours are essential.

Additional note

Applicants are expected to maintain dependable attendance and comply with the assigned work schedule.
