About The Role
As a Quality Control Analyst reporting to the QC Manager, you will carry out various analyses to verify that the chemical composition and characteristics of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products meet specified quality standards. Your testing responsibilities will include quality control testing of raw and in-process materials, stability testing of both commercial and experimental products, and characterization testing of new and existing products.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory equipment calibrations and checks to maintain accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Develop and validate test methods for pharmaceutical starting materials and finished products to ensure precision, accuracy, and consistent performance under varying conditions.
- Investigate and analyze atypical or out-of-specification results, alternative materials or products, and deviations occurring during testing or manufacturing.
- Analyze and review trending data from test records to support quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proven ability to conduct analytical laboratory work in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards.
- Strong attention to detail with meticulous documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience with pharmaceutical inhalation product testing (using devices such as DU, ACI, and/or MSLI) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with HPLC and/or LC-MS techniques is advantageous but not required.

We have two full-time vacancies for motivated science graduates with a minimum of two years' experience working in GMP-regulated laboratories, located at our Frenchs Forest facility.
Compensation for this role ranges from 73150 to 79000 AUD annually, dependent on experience.
