Role Summary
The Quality Auditor II, International position is responsible for supporting and administering the company’s quality program under managerial direction while sharing feedback with country leadership in the assigned market.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Manager and local operations teams to build quality programs that align with SBA quality standards and compliance expectations.
- Explain, interpret, and communicate the requirements of the SBA quality management system.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation.
- Design and roll out training programs as needed.
- Perform internal quality audits for ground and tower-top operations, and analyze data to verify compliance with established standards.
- Evaluate procedures and quality instructions created by others to confirm accuracy, relevance, and compliance.
- Draft and update operating procedures and quality instructions so records remain current and reflect actual work practices.
- Keep management informed about ISO status, requirements, and concerns through written and verbal updates.
- Arrange third-party audits of plant operations and standards to assess compliance with SBA requirements.
- Take on additional projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- English and local-language bilingual ability is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in telecommunications or construction is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
- Prior climbing experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel within the country 60% of the time and outside the country 20% of the time.
- A valid government-issued driver’s license is required.
- A valid government-issued passport is required.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and repetitive hand use.
- Occasional lifting up to 70 lbs, carrying, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, and eye/hand/foot coordination.
- Work may occasionally involve extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, wet conditions, temperature changes, and precarious heights.
- Noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions, and vibration may occur frequently.
