Job description
Position Overview
CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for a client located in the Waterford Metropolitan Area. This role offers an opportunity to engage directly in quality management activities within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation and evaluation of batch documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate and authorize deviations, Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs), quality events, and related tasks.
- Ensure the quality management system is properly executed and sustained throughout the organization.
- Serve as the primary quality contact for systems and processes, offering guidance and feedback on quality-related matters.
- Conduct prompt reviews of documentation, investigations, and reports, identifying potential issues and aiding in their resolution based on risk assessment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to guarantee timely completion of quality-related actions and findings.
- Proactively participate in initiatives aimed at continuous quality improvement.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promptly report any health or safety concerns.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline is mandatory.
- Previous experience in quality within operational settings is advantageous, especially with strong knowledge of product management, manufacturing, and release processes.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality expertise and support to QA teams and site departments.
- Experience supporting task execution in strictly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Effective communication skills across organizational, team, and individual levels.
- Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and US and EU regulatory frameworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant quality and compliance standards and regulations.
