Role overview
This position focuses on maintaining and improving the organization’s quality management framework across production and service operations. The successful candidate will help ensure that internal practices align with external regulations, ISO requirements, and any new certification or award standards needed by the business.
Core responsibilities
- Build, apply, and sustain quality management systems, processes, procedures, and standards so that operations remain compliant with company rules, legal requirements, and ISO expectations.
- Maintain and refresh quality documents, including policies, procedures, records, and work instructions.
- Carry out scheduled quality audits and inspections across production and service activities to confirm compliance with established standards and policies.
- Detect gaps, defects, or process inconsistencies and make sure corrective measures are completed promptly.
- Compile audit findings and deliver reports to leadership, clearly outlining risks, concerns, and recommended improvements.
- Support the setting of departmental performance targets and monitor progress through periodic performance reviews.
- Spot opportunities to strengthen manufacturing and service workflows and propose changes that improve overall quality.
- Handle customer complaints connected to product or service quality and work toward resolution.
- Monitor and track quality-related key performance indicators.
Qualifications and skills
A bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related discipline is required. The role also calls for at least 5 years of hands-on experience in FMCG quality assurance systems.
Applicants should be able to establish, implement, and maintain ISO standards, including but not limited to 9001, 14001, and 45001. Strong knowledge of GMP and quality system standards is expected, along with prior auditing exposure across different quality management systems.
Excellent written and spoken communication in both Arabic and English is important, as are accurate documentation habits, reporting discipline, follow-up, time management, planning, organization, and the ability to work effectively with people of different personalities. Professional integrity and competence are also essential.
