Role overview
Tilray is looking for a flexible and personable team member to fill the Quality Assurance Associate position in Densborn, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany as soon as possible. This role sits within the Quality function.
Key responsibilities
The position involves supporting a range of quality management activities, including audits, supplier qualification, documentation control, deviation handling, and continuous improvement work.
- Support internal and external quality audits and assist with report preparation.
- Maintain and coordinate the supplier qualification process.
- Manage and organize the document management system.
- Help evaluate change requests and carry out risk assessments.
- Track and document deviation and complaint processes.
- Perform qualification activities for rooms and equipment.
- Coordinate process improvements, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain and develop the quality management system in line with EU GMP guidelines.
- Review and analyze general quality documents such as the Site Master File, Quality Management Review, organizational chart, and KPI reports.
Candidate profile
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, such as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a comparable field. As an alternative, a successfully completed technical qualification in pharmacy or an equivalent background is also acceptable.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, wholesale, pharmacy, or quality management is preferred. The role also requires a willingness to build knowledge of cGMP principles and how they are applied in practice.
Strong communication skills, a structured approach to work, and the ability to assert ideas and see tasks through to completion are important. Very good German and good English skills are required, as communication with suppliers and customers during audits is part of the job.
