About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing of software to evaluate functionality and performance against requirements.
• Detect, record, and track software defects until they are resolved effectively.
• Perform regression, functional, usability tests, and verify fixes of reported issues.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers across the entire software development life cycle.
• Assist in developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans, cases, and quality assurance documentation.
• Support testing of APIs, system integrations, and cross-browser compatibility as needed.
• Continuously monitor product quality and suggest enhancements to testing procedures.
• Participate in ongoing efforts to improve QA standards and adopt best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Fundamental understanding of software testing concepts and quality assurance frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for problem identification and resolution.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to stay organized.
• Experience or familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools is beneficial.
• Basic proficiency in SQL, API testing, or automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is an added advantage.
