Qualified Person - QP

About the Role

Our client, a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Ireland, is looking for an experienced Qualified Person (QP) to join their Quality team. This is a fully remote position focused on batch release responsibilities across a varied portfolio including oral solids, liquids, biologics, IMPs, and inhalation products. The role involves working closely within a small, collaborative Quality team that is expanding and receiving active investment to support growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Certify and release batches across a range of pharmaceutical product types.
• Function as the Qualified Person for internal licences, performing batch release activities remotely.
• Support client site audits and batch release at locations in Ireland and the UK, with occasional trips to Germany.
• Review and approve Quality Technical Agreements created by the Quality Specialist team.
• Collaborate closely with the GMP Manager and broader Quality team on onboarding new clients and contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs).
• Foster a remote-working Quality team culture emphasizing clear communication, responsiveness, and active engagement in virtual collaboration.

Candidate Profile

• Fully qualified and currently registered Qualified Person eligible to act as a QP.
• Demonstrated batch release experience across multiple product categories, with bonus points for biologics, IMPs, and inhalation products.
• Experience with client onboarding, quality technical agreements, and change control processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to work remotely independently and travel occasionally for client audits and batch release.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable with video conferencing and remote teamwork.
• Available to commence work with minimal notice.
