Role Overview
Al Mana Holding is looking for a local QHSE Manager to take ownership of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management for Mazzraty Group in Doha. The role is focused on maintaining strong food safety controls, reducing operational risk, strengthening workplace safety, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations across all sites.

Quality and Food Safety Duties
The selected professional will design, implement, and improve QHSE policies, procedures, and standards for poultry operations. This includes ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and Qatar food safety requirements, while also monitoring production activities to maintain hygiene, traceability, temperature control, and cold chain integrity. The role also covers sanitation programs, internal audits, farm and facility inspections, transport checks, microbiological testing coordination, and corrective action follow-up for quality concerns.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
The manager will establish and enforce occupational health and safety practices to prevent injuries and incidents. Duties include conducting risk assessments across farms, workshops, warehouses, offices, and processing areas; overseeing safe use of machinery, chemicals, electrical systems, confined spaces, and lifting operations; checking PPE compliance; investigating incidents and near misses; carrying out root cause analysis; and ensuring corrective actions are completed. The role also requires emergency preparedness planning, fire drills, evacuation readiness, first-aid coordination, safety inductions, ongoing employee training, and regular site audits.
Environmental Responsibilities
This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability expectations. The QHSE Manager must monitor waste handling, wastewater disposal, emissions, and other environmental risks, while promoting practical sustainability and resource-efficiency measures. Compliance with Ministry of Environment and Climate Change requirements is also essential, including the submission of reports under Consent to Operate obligations.
Compliance, Reporting, and Documentation
The role includes managing compliance with Qatar authorities and food safety requirements, preparing QHSE reports, KPIs, incident summaries, and management presentations, and coordinating external audits, inspections, and certification activities. The manager will also maintain accurate and complete QHSE records, permits, certifications, and related documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. This is a local hiring opportunity and requires 4 to 10 years of experience in QHSE management. Strong working knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, GMP, food safety systems, and occupational safety standards is necessary, along with proven leadership, communication, training, and multi-site coordination skills.
