Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Conduct testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, ensuring adherence to timelines and compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Drive laboratory key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure a first-time-right approach in all testing processes.
- Update documentation related to QC test methods and procedures as necessary.
- Investigate and troubleshoot analytical methods to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement projects within the laboratory environment.
- Maintain and properly care for laboratory equipment, ensuring correct use and upkeep.
- Demonstrate proficiency with laboratory software and scientific programs such as LIMS, LabX, UV software, and Empower.
- Help maintain laboratory organization following 6S principles and uphold good housekeeping standards.
- Prepare scientific documentation including Laboratory Investigation Reports (LIR), Protocols, and general reports.
- Review analytical data accurately to ensure quality compliance.
- Assist in project management activities as required.
- Deliver training sessions to peers or new staff when needed.
- This role does not involve supervisory duties.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Associate degree or college diploma in a relevant scientific discipline.
- At least one year of experience working in a Scientist role, with experience in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) considered a plus.
- Self-driven and capable of managing priorities effectively.
