Role overview
We are seeking a QA/QC Inspector with practical experience in storm water systems, drainage networks, utilities, and transport infrastructure. In this role, you will help verify that construction work is delivered in line with approved drawings, project specifications, standards, and overall quality expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections for storm water, drainage, utility, and roadworks activities.
- Check that construction output follows approved drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Handle WIRs, MIRs, and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), including review and tracking.
- Track non-conformances and ensure NCRs are resolved through appropriate corrective actions.
- Observe contractor operations to confirm quality control and compliance requirements are being met.
- Inspect excavation works, backfilling, pipe installation, and utility-related works.
- Work closely with consultants, contractors, and QA/QC personnel on site.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC records, reports, and inspection logs.
- Assist with testing, inspections, and handover activities for the project.
Qualifications and requirements
- Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- 2 to 8 years of QA/QC experience in infrastructure or utilities projects is expected.
- Prior hands-on exposure to drainage, roadworks, or underground utilities is necessary.
- Good working knowledge of ITPs, NCRs, WIRs, and MIRs is important.
- Awareness of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and local authority requirements is needed.
- Saudi Council of Engineers registration is preferred.
- Experience on site-based infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia is required.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate effectively with stakeholders is essential.
