Job description
Role overview
This contract role is based in Worcester, MA and runs for 6+ months, with the possibility of being extended depending on performance and business requirements. The position supports a fast-moving GMP data review environment across areas such as raw materials, environmental monitoring, in-process testing, final bulk, stability, and validation. The associate will review assay data, assist with data-mining work, and handle data archiving while working under supervisory guidance and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Store and organize data within the RIMS system.
- Carry out routine laboratory data reviews, including on-the-floor and off-the-floor checks for low-complexity test methods.
- Help sustain a safe working environment for self and colleagues by following all required procedures.
- Apply and maintain GMP standards for laboratory records, procedures, and systems.
- Take ownership of assigned work and complete tasks as committed while supporting a cooperative team environment.
- Provide administrative support to the review team, including logbook handling and scanning/filing records.
- Assist with training activities by demonstrating tasks to other employees when needed.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or a high school diploma paired with at least 5 years of combined experience in manufacturing, QA, or QC within the pharmaceutical or biologics sector.
- Hands-on familiarity with GMP-controlled laboratory environments.
- Experience reviewing laboratory data and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven setting.
- Knowledge of archival, filing, and logbook administration processes.
- Comfort working collaboratively while receiving direction from a supervisor.
Additional information
This role requires experience with RIMS, Empower, and A280. It is a contract assignment for 6+ months, with extension dependent on performance and business needs.
