Job overview
Indium Software is hiring a QA Automation Lead for its Capital Markets function in Pune. The role is focused on building robust automation coverage for data, ETL/ELT, APIs, and microservices, along with CI/CD-enabled test execution.
Core responsibilities
- Create automation scripts using languages such as SQL, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks based on BDD and TDD approaches using tools such as Cucumber, JBehave, Jasmine, and Selenium.
- Set up and drive CI/CD-oriented test automation practices with Jenkins, Bamboo, and Azure DevOps.
- Build automated tests for operational, relational, and OLAP databases, as well as data warehouse systems.
- Design validation logic for ETL/ELT workflows that run across multiple parallel processing pipelines.
- Test APIs and microservices across both UI and data layers, covering data extraction, transformation/preparation, and consumption modules.
- Work with SQL-based platforms and cloud data services such as Azure SQL DB, Azure DW, Azure Data Lake, and Blob Storage, as well as ETL tools like Talend and Azure Data Factory.
