Position Overview
We seek a proactive and experienced Purchasing Officer with preferably an engineering services background to join our team at our Vijayawada location. This role involves managing procurement operations, vendor relations, material planning, warehousing, and compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates with over 5 years of experience in procurement are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to clarify specifications and company expectations.
- Manage supplies, track budget expenses, oversee vendor relationships, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure quality manufacturing practices.
- Ensure continuous supply and demand fulfillment of materials.
- Maintain comprehensive vendor records and perform comparative analyses to negotiate pricing, taxation, and contracts.
- Understand raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management to optimize manufacturing and distribution.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to guarantee delivery timeliness, even under tight deadlines.
- Ensure timely procurement of all necessary materials, products, and services to prevent production delays.
Eligibility and Educational Requirements
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) or a Management degree (preferably full-time from a reputed institute) or an equivalent qualification.
